Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him, if you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. How great a truth is this, which opens the way to freedom and gives it meaning throughout our lives. read more

6th Senbet Zetnsae (2020)

We have sat with apostles as they listened to Jesus, and now he offers us the most lavish meal possible. We eat his very flesh and blood. Such food is indeed bread from heaven. It provides us nourishment for eternal life. It also strengthens our faith and our willingness to live the gospel, proclaiming it to others in words and action. read more

The risen Jesus goes in search of his disciples, to encourage them and tell them more about the great mission he had entrusted them. He passes by, close to the Apostles, close to those souls who have given themselves to him and they do not realize he is there. How often Christ is not only near us, but also in us; yet we still live in such a human way! read more

Minnia Amar's Life History

In Memory of late good teacher Minnia Ammar who passed away on 15/11/2019 and whose funeral took place at Megarih, Keren. Condolences to the family and other friends, far and near! It is difficult to describe the late Minnia's life in words sentences. Yet I can only say it was an EXEMPLARY LIFE! a dedicated and much appreciated life with professionalism, in every aspect. Minnia was, is and will be a model for dedication, spirituality, and commitment to ones cause. I worked almost 5 years under her leadership in the Catholic Laity Board of the diocese of Asmara between 1985 to 1990. I am one of those fortunate who could know her and appreciated her consistency, dedication, kindness, and strong sense of belief in God, her spirituality. Dr. Kiflemariam Hamde read more
