Bishop Zekarias Yohannes was born in Adi Zenu on June 13, 1925, was ordained priest on June 25, 1949 and Bishop of Asmara on June 29, 1981. After a long service, Bishop Zekarias passed away at the age of 91, on Dec.1, 2016. read more

On the 24th November 2016, upon the invitation of the Catholic Eparchy of Keren, the Daughters of St. Ann opened new community center in Hagaz. The Eparchy was expecting with eager the entrance of the Sisters since 1998. read more
To believe in and assert that Christ will come again is to believe in and assert that we are in the process of becoming, in the process of growing and maturing, and that heaven can begin here on earth. It is a tremendously hopeful vision. read more
